Black and white at Tate Modern

Do people who frequent art galleries take more care over their choice of clothes than those who don't? It seems reasonable to suppose that to be the case. And yet style and fashion are not necessarily the bed-fellows of art, much as everyone connected with clothing and fashion wishes and supposes them to be. The part-person in today's photograph clearly liked the mixture of black and white and carefully paired the shoes with the rest of the ensemble. I just as carefully ensured that my photograph didn't reveal their identity.

AllSaints store, London

I have little time for fashion in clothing. It seems to me to be a way to encourage people to buy often impractical items before the clothes they own have reached the end of their life. But style and design, in clothing do interest me. I know nothing about the clothing store called ALLSAINTS and the only branch I've ever seen is the one on Commercial Road in London that I came across recently. The illuminated advert looking down on the shoppers passing and entering the premises appealed to the photographer in me.
