Photographic hoardings

A recent trip to London found us near Battersea Power Station, now a site that is being converted into flats and ancillary businesses. The developers, presumably wishing to present an acceptable face to potential buyers, and also hoping to paint a picture of the lifestyle on offer, had erected hoardings, screening work, that were covered in large, colourful photographs. Seafood, kitchens and bars were prominent. Juxtaposed with real people they offered slightly surreal photographic opportunities.
